Replace the video card with one the supports the resolution.

Check for and download the latest drivers for your card, it's an outside
chance but it can't hurt to try.

What is the video card ?

Is the video built into the motherboard ? Or is a separate
video card being used ? Make and model ?

What card do you have? How much do you want to spend on a
new one?

Many computers now have a built in video card on their motherboard, which
isn't the latest and greatest, but is serviceable for many people. Most of
those computers will let you add either a PCI or AGP video card (look up to
see which one you need). Even a modestly priced ($35-50) card will
outperform the onboard video.

Go here and download PowerStrip 3.60 It's a 30 day trial but you can see if
it works. http://www.download.com/3001-2086_4-10395724.html?idl=n
