Advice please. I want to buy a reliable and user friendly piece of
software that will enable me to decode commercially bought Sports DVD
and personal DVD recordings (in VOB files), extract short clips from
them and take screen captures to save on my own computer – all without
any appreciable loss of quality. What should I go for?

Thanks in advance

Rob C

Cyberlink's PowerDirector can import and edit VOB files.... but those on
commercially available sports DVDs may be encrypted and it won't overcome
that, by design.
