When I try to do system restore I am informed that I have no restore
points created. I did recently get to very low disk space so I think
that was why they might have got deleted. However I have restored some
space and have set it to automatic restore point creation, yet every
time I access system restore I still have no restore points. When I try
to create one I get the following error message: Could not create the
scheduled task for the following reason: Cannot create a file when that
file already exists (0x800700B7). Obviously there are no such files
existing otherwise I would not try to create them! Any advice very much
appreciated.

I am able to get up to 20 % verification and then it stops with the
message: Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested
operation. Sad
