I have a laptop that will not load. I was in the middle of opening a pdf and
the system completely froze. The only way that I could get out of where I
was was to hold down the power button. Once the laptop sat for a few minutes
I hit the power button and the light comes on put nothing is loading. The
screen is completely black and you can not hear anything even trying to load.

I had to reinstall my WinAntiVirus 2007, but eveything was working after the
install. The laptop is about 3 years old. I am just afraid that I may have
lost everything. I am just trying to find out is there anything that I can
do to start the system without losing all of the previous info or having it
hacked in the mean time.

Thanks

Sounds like a power failure of some kind.
