When you're playing with the options for your Pagefile, are you making sure
you click SET before you leave the window? If not, the changes aren't being
made.
Pagefile.sys by default lives in C:\ folder. If it isn't there, then
either it's not turned on, or you've moved it and turned OFF the pagefile
for drive C, which was the wrong thing to do. Assuming you boot from C.
Try setting the Pagefile to Let Windows Manage it. Then click Set, and OK
your way out. Restart the comptuter and it should be there, plus I'll bet
the message goes away too.
If not, come back with as much info as you can think of, including anything
special you might be doing with the machine software wise.
