A customers Toshiba laptop logs the error below in the system event log on
every start up. I am trying to identify what the 'SrvcEPDrv service' may be
and where the attempt to load it originates. I can find no registry entry,
file, or information in web searches on it (though it sees vaguely familiar
to me).
If anyone is familiar with this service or has an idea how to track it
down, I'd appreciate your info.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 6/10/2009
Time: 4:15:34 PM
User: N/A
Computer: XXXXNOTEBOOK
Description:
The SrvcEPDrv service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

A driver for an EP Memory USB Flash drive ?

I would take a look with Autoruns from Sysinternals:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Start it, then use the search button. It WILL find it.

Thanks. Good idea but autoruns didn't find it. (I finally tracked it down
by doing a text search within ...system32 and finding which other files
referenced it.)
