Hi can anyone please help me?, I have a cd disc that i was ale to play
on my computer that had windows 98 on, the problem is now that i have
"Upgraded" to Windows XP i can not play/install the disc to the
computer (i am wondering if it has anything to do with compatability),
the message that comes up is as follows:
16 bit windows sub system,
c:/windows/system23/autoexec.nf.
the system file is not sutible for running ms-dos and microsoft windows
application. choose close to terminate the application.

The system req for running the disc: 486 dx66 or better, 8mb ram, 9mb
hard disc space, svga graphics card, double speed cd drive, 8 bit sound
blaster compatable sound card, mouse, windows 3.1, 95 or 98.

If it is a compatability problem, is there any way to "make the disc
compatable with xp", or at least is there anything that i can
do.....please help

Many Thanks in advance

Hi sweeneytodd,

Have a look at the information here:
MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program Error Message

If you still run into compatibility problems:
