Howdy,
We run XP on a few of our systems...
On one system only, while browsing the web, as many pages
load, a dialog appears saying (in effect) that there are
both Secure, and Non-Secure objects on the page, and asking
if the user want to view the page.
How can we prevent that dialog from appearing?
I have reviewed the help file until my fingers were
bleeding, but I can't find a way to turn that thing off.
Thanks for any help,
--
Kenneth

First off, if you haven't done so already, you might want to post this question
in the Internet Explorer newsgroup. Check your listing of newsgroups for this
one.
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
That said, I believe the following steps will stop those warnings from being
displayed.
In Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Internet Options.
In Internet Options, click on the Security tab.
In the Internet zone, click on the Custom level button.
In Security Settings, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
For Display mixed content, the default setting is Prompt which is what you're
seeing.
Changing the setting to Enable will shut off the warnings but it will also lower
the security of the browser.
Changing the setting to Disable will shut off the warning and it will prevent
the non-secure items from being displayed.
Make your selection and hit OK twice.
You may have to close and reopen IE for the changes to take place.
Good luck
