When I do a search either with MSN or Google it pulls up a list of links
based on the info I searched for. When I click on a link it takes me to a
totally different web site, quite often eBay or something else. I have run 3
spyware programs, 2 anti-virus programs, windows defender, windows updates,
explorer updates, and others and this continues to happen!

If anyone can help me out with this problem I would appreciate it.

Rightclick the search link found, and look at the Properties of the link, to
see if the address is where you go. If that is correct, there is no reason to
believe the system is broken. E-bay pages often use 'meta-tags' to enhance
search hitcount.

The link address is fine, it is not always ebay that it goes to. If I copy
and paste the address of the link it goes right to the web site I searched
for?

Take a look at your 'add-ons'. See if you picked up some e-bay malware.

IE, tools menu, Options, Program tab, 'Manage Add-ons' button.
