Mike, did you assign a admin password for Recovery Console. If not, just
ignore the message. Did you
wait long enough for windows to load when you first tried after using F8.
Sometimes it takes quite awhile.
Go to Start>Run type: msconfig select Boot.ini If the SafeBoot
option is checked then uncheck . If that's not the case then
Start over and do a Repair Install. Not a Repair OS. Check here for more
