Hi,
I was just wondering how I can change what programs automatically open up
when Windows XP starts up. I'd like to shut a few of them off that don't
need to be running, both on my machine, and on my wife's Celeron machine as
well. Any helpful information will obviously be greatly appreciated. Thanks
so much!

Check the Startup folder

Also see: -

All about disabling programs at startup

Check the programs that are starting up and see if the program has any options to
stop it from starting when Windows starts.

Thanks very much, MSCONFIG is the key there, and it worked. Thanks again!
