Post subject: SQL Updates KB936181 and KB 948109
I have an Acer Aspire 9300-5620 with Vista Home Premium. I cannot install two Microsoft updates:

The first is "Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 SP2" (KB936181) dated 6/24/2008.

The next is "Security Update for SQL Server 2005 SP2" (KB948109) dated 8/12/2008.

Do I need SQL 2005 on my system?

If I do, how do I install these apparently "critical" updates?
