UGH! Running Network Setup Wizard Every Day - Not sure how this started, but a month ago, each time I start up Win XP home I must re-run the network setup wizard to connect to the web and check email via Outlook. It's very thoughts on this are

Is there a reliable/trutworthy resource/database on the internet where I can check the purpose of the running programs started automatically in XP? Would like to be sure I can turn them off if they are not required for my purposes (not to mention disable spyware if any).
