How to Rip DVD for Portable Devices without Audio/Video Sync Problem?
As the development of society, more and more portable divices are
overflowing in our life, like iPod, iPhone, PSP, Zune, PS3, cell phones,
etc. When we want to enjoy DVD on your iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, Zune,
etc. we may encounter the problem of adding and playing DVDs on them. In
fact, most of DVD has CSS copyright protection, so we need a
professional program to rip DVD to other popular video formats
acceptable to iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, Zune, etc. like mp4. While another
common problem may occur after transferring and enjoying the ripped DVD
on our devices, that is* audio/video are out of sync.*
In brief, four possibities can lead to the audio/video sync problem.
1.The audio of DVD itself is out of video for poor prodution or
editing.
2.Loose sync tolerances in the player.
3.Improper adjustment of bitrate, frame rate, etc. and wrongly select
codec and format.
4.Bugs of DVD Rippers
Here I will demonstrate the best solution to fix the problem via a
powerful tool adopted advanced audio and video sync technology, *Moyea
'DVD Ripper' (http://www.my-video-converter.com/dvd_ripper/)*, which is
not only a strong ripper to rip any DVD to other popular video formats,
but also a wonderful editor to improve and perfect the DVD for our great
enjoyment through cropping, trimming, merging and so on.
First, you should know which video format is your device supports.
Actually, mp4 is the popular video format workable to most of portable
devices, like, iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, etc. And if you don’t know which
one is the supported video format on your device, just do a google
search or ask for help.
Now, let’s start the guide about ripping DVD without audio/video async
problem.
*Step 1 Download and install Moyea 'DVD Ripper'

*Step 2 Import the DVD files to this program*
Run the program and click “Add”, it supplies four ways to load files:
A. Load from DVD Rom: All DVD files can be automatically detected and
recognized from DVD Rom and daemon via this program.
B. Load DVD folder: Sometimes DVD folders stored in your hard drive, it
shows like “Video_ts” folder and “Audio_ts” folder. You can click the
“Video_ts” folder to load it onto the program.
C. Load ISO image files: You may amount your ISO files in the daemon
tools and then load the DVD file from the virtual DVD drive.
D. Load IFO files: Click to import DVD files and load IFO files.
*Step 3 Set advanced settings.*
After click the “Settings” button, a window will popup. You can adjust
the bitrate, frame rate, etc to meet your need, but if you adjust
improperly, the audio/video sync problem will occur. Therefore, in the
process, you should remember to regulate the progress of the bitrate,
frame rate, etc. in the same steps.
*Step 4 Set the output video format and the destination folder.*
*Step 5 Start conversion by clicking the “Start” button*

*Useful tips (Optional)*
*Crop Video*:DVD usually has black edges or letterboxed which you may
be annoyed. Now you can easily and fastly cut off the unwanted parts of
the video and remove black edges and letterboxed of it with this program
by clicking the “*Edit*” icon to open the edit window to achieve it by
the “*Crop*” bar.

*Trim Video:* Sometimes you may not need the whole DVD file, just drag
the “*Trim*” bar to realize it.

*Merge into one file*:You may hope to join a bunch of small files into
a big file, just tick the “*Merge into one*” button to accomplish it.
*Effect*: You can watch the video at “*Preview Pane*” and set
brightness, contrast, saturation and adjust the volume to perfect the
effect.

with excellent output quality will be stored on the destination folder.

comfortably enjoy videos on your protable device without any trouble of
audio out of video.
