I am new at connecting to terminal services 2000 with a VPN to a remote
desktop. I currently have a Toshiba (Satellite) Notebook which I am looking
to upgrade ASAP. Any suggestions of brands, models, specs? I have been told
to look at Dells?

Any suggestions or information would be helpful.

There are really so many solutions, if you go with Dell go with Latitude line
because of the consistancy of parts. I used to like HP but some people don't
like them. Just find one with the specs you want make sure you get about at
LEAST 1 Gig MEMORY. With Vista coming you just want to make sure your
upgrade path is not gonna be a problem.
