My friend's HP printer will not work at bootup on her XP Proff. The
services are not all running. But after we click | Control Panel | Perform
| Admin Tools | Services | then start the Print Spooler - the HP Printer
works. I only noticed today the spooler is dependent on the RPC or is it?

Is there a method to keep the Printer Spooler running at bootup ? It is set
to automatic. But the dependence is set to Remote Procedure Call (RPC).

If Remote Procedure Call (RPC) is set to automatic and started, will it keep
the Printer Spooler running? The PC and Printer are for her church so if
you help us out, I can get you a front seat in Heaven - sitting in between
us two.

Thank you for your time and help.

Is the printer connected to the XP Pro computer or is it a networked printer? RPC
should not be a factor if the printer is not networked.
