Post subject: Power options via RDP
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>work_remotely (more info?)

I logged onto a client's laptop remotely as administrator. When I logged off
(unbeknownst to me), it had automatically turned on Standby mode. The laptop,
of course, eventually went to sleep and was no longer accesible remotely.

When the user got to the office, I had him awaken the computer and I logged
on remotely to attempt to turn off Standby. However, the power options are
not accessible via the display -> screen saver properties. This is also true
of Windows servers' UPS properties.

Is there a way to run the power properties manually via RDP?
