Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

Somehow my windows xp office 2003 is messed up. We bought our computer last
year and did the update online and I don't have any idea about finding out
what the product key is & what I need to do to fix it. So we bought
Microsoft Works Suite 2006 but it won't upload correctly either---some of it
will, but word won't & I need it.

I keep getting this message: This patch package could not be opened.
Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it or contact
the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch
program.

I don't have a clue what all that means but please help me!

Thanks,

Kim
