I have an old laptop, Dell, with Pentium !!!. I have a regular mouse hooke up
to it, but my fingers always activate the internal mouse. I can not figure
out how to turn it off. I went into control panel, mouse, and properties but
there was nothing there to turn off mouse. Anyone know?
thanks

You may have to undate the touchpad drivers.
Google "dell laptop disable touchpad" gives loads of hits.

What exactly to you mean with the "internal mouse"? The Touch Pad?
If so then you need to have a look in the Control Panel / Mouse.
There is probably a setting there that lets you disable the touch pad. |
