Vista does not have a default feature to mount ISO images.
I use Daemon Tools Lite. It is free for non commercial use.

Elaborate Bytes "CloneDrive". Free.

VLC Media Player will play an ISO file without mounting it. Free. Movies
only, of course. Don't try to play Windows-7 ISO with it. =)

If you happen to use WinRAR, that program can extract/view ISO contents.
Not quite as convenient as having a virtual drive. FYI (sheesh).

I tried your link. After installing, daemon tools shows a message to
reboot.

After rebooting, there is no shortcut for the program.

After rebooting, Daemon Tools should resume installation process.
It works well for me.
Sorry to hear you ran into problems.

You Need 2 Install The Device Driver First. Then Re-Execute The
Installer 2 Install The Progam Itself. A Special Note: You Can Obtain
The Latest Device Driver 4 Daemon Tools Lite @ http://www.disc-tools.com/
(The Current Device Driver That Comes With The Integrated Installer Is
A Little Out Of Date And Does Not Sopport Windows 7 RTM Unlike The
Latest 1.60 Device Driver Which Is A Separate Download).
