When I open my memory stick up to view the photos it says it's empty but when
I go to delete the file those photos are in it says "Cannot remove folder
100Canon: The directory is not empty." I've deleted this file before but now
it won't let me. I'm also missing several pictures. I have tried showing
all hidden but the "properties" thing says 0 mb. If there is nothing in
there why does it say "not empty"?
Thanks!

start/run, type CMD, and at that prompt, log the drive (EConfused) and run the
command:
del /s /f /q *.*
then remove the folders.

I suppose it's possible they got renamed to a different extension than a
picture format, but it's most probable they are corrupted. If explorer is not
seeing them, even with view hidden files turned on, there really isn't much
chance for saving them.
