When I logon, I receive the following message:
"Runner file name (LogitechDesktopMessenger.exe) lacks a '-' (the appid
separator)"
Questions:
1) What does this mean in lay terms?
(The mouse appears to be working fine.)
2) Recommendations/How to Correct?

Thanks,

Hi Mavic517,
Do you have this Application from logitech, it is an updates messanger and
it is n't needed unless you are planing to use it.
You looks like missing a files for that application and it is been on the
startup programs list and the system looking for that file but couldn't find
it then genrating this error message to let you know that there is an
application wasn't successful on start up.
Try to uninstall it from Add/ Remove in the control panel.
Also you can download this tool to clean up all files/folders registry
entries for that application;
http://www.ccleaner.com
Another if you don't have this application that you may infected and you
need to scan for malwares on your computer.
If you prefer to delete it manually do the following:
Open the windows explorer and c:\program files\logitech\desktop
messenger\8876480\program\ delet the folder for that application.
HTH.
Let us know.
Regards,
nass
