| When you log into Safe Mode, do you logon as an Administrator? When you try
logging into Windows in regular mode what is the exact error message you get?

Hi there,
I think I'm having the same problem. I've got my Administrator account
which I use and a guest account. I tried to login to my Admin account and
it's giving me this message "The User Profile Service service failed the
logon" "User profile cannot be loaded".
Previously, I was having trouble opening my Hotmail account on the normal IE
browser so a friend suggested to uninstall my McAfee and it worked. Because
I bought my laptop second hand, I don't have the McAfee CD to reinstall it.
Then the following day as I tried to login to my administrator account, the
above message started appearing. So I logged on to my Guest account and
managed to DL an antivirus but now it's asking my administrator password
which is giving me another error. If I type a different password, it tells
me that "incorrect password".
A friend suggested to go on safemode under my administrator account and that
seemed to work but it won't let me make another account or change my account.
PLEASE HELP.... I'm really struggling as well.
Thanks.
