Hi all,

I have a Windows XP on our Windows 2003 AD domain. This particular PC
was having problems connecting to the domain so I removed it, with the
intention of joining it again.

The network documentation left for me by my predeccessor contained
local admin passwords, but, guess what, the LAP stated is not correct.

So I cannot log back into the PC to re-join it to the domain.

Is there any way of resetting/finding out the LAP on this XP PC?

Thanks,

Gary.

Yep -

Next time, change the local admin pw first before disjoining - you might
also consider a startup script for all workstations, applied via group
policy, to set the local admin passwords to what you wish -

e.g.,
