Post subject: LInk user profile to hardware profile Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>work_remotely (more info?)
I've created 3 hardware profiles for a user's laptop
1 Work from Home
2 Work from Office (i.e.connect to LAN)
3 Work at Remote Office (i.e. Connect to DMZ on firewall)
I need to get the user profile to match to the hardware
profile when the user logs on (same log on no matter where
the location)
In cases 1 and 3 the VPN client is invoked, but no when
connected to the LAN. Similarly Terminal Services.
User profile - All, I would like to know if there is a way to setup users to have the same basic profile when they first log on. For example, I would like to force all the users to use the classic view instead of the new XP view Thanks
