Kodak Digital Camera/ won't recognize

Are you talking about accessing the memory on the camera via USB?

Actually, the OP has stated that the camera worked on his PC (a few
months ago)- last line of her original posting.

To the OP; what happens when you plug in the camera? Does Windows try
to detect the hardware, but ends up not finding drivers, therefore
stating the device as "unknown"?

Maybe you need to install the Kodak software first (which may contain
drivers and so on, as well as the photo editing software). Then restart
the PC and then try plugging in the camera.

Do other USB devices work (assuming this camera is connected via the
provided USB cable)?

Can you access the removable SD memory card/chip in a memory card
reader/drive, or does this camera have built-in memory?
