I recently purchased a "lenovo" computer. It has no PS2 ports, only USB
ports. The USB keyboard that comes with the "lenovo" computer woks fine.
Unfortunately I want a split keyboard of a little different style. I have
four USB keyboards "1) Belkin", "2) Microsoft", "3) lenovo" and "4)
Keytronics". Both the Belkin and Microsoft keyboards, although of the
proper style, don't work with the Windows XP diak, neither keyboard seems to
be detected. A call to lenovo has established that it is not available in
the split style. The Keytronics keyboard is also not available in the split
style. I am thinking of getting a PS2 to USB converter in the hope it will
preserve the operation of the PS2 keyboard. Does anybody know if it will?
On my limited experience it doesn't look like either the "Belkin" or the
"Microsoft" keyboards will work with an XP disk. Does anybody have any
experience, and model numbers, to tell me that I am wrong?
