Hi guys,
After installing all the new updates today 02/12/2008 the "KB937287"
failed. I rebooted my computer, and the same update was up again. I have
installed it again, and now the only difference is that it was
successfully installed, but unfortunately every time I go check for new
updates, the KB937287 keeps showing over and over. If I install it and
reboot, I have it several time showing as successful, still it keeps
showing always.

I have the same situation on my Vista x64 machine, but I didn't encountered
this on 2 Vista x32 machines, this update showed up after the new updates
(were installed the the PC rebooted) on the x32 machines.

1. Download the update. To do this, follow these steps:
a. Visit the Microsoft Download Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads)
b. In the Search for a download box, type the number of the Knowledge Base
article that describes the update, and then click Go.
c. Download the update, and then save it to the desktop.

2. Install the update. To do this, follow these steps:
a. Double-click the downloaded file to install it.

If you are prompted to restart the computer, do so.
b. Visit the Windows Update or Microsoft Update Web site to verify whether
the update is offered again. If you are offered the update again, continue to
the next step.

I was running into this with Vista x64 as well. I downloaded the
standalone Update and it succeeded:

'Download details: Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems
(KB937287)'

systeminfo reports it as installed on my machine after that as well.

I downloaded the standalone and it now shows up in systeminfo as well.
Windows Update also no longer claims that it needs the update.
