Javascript Is Not Working Correctly

I posted below about my Hibernation problem. Thanks to Andrew E. and Derek
Harvey for solving that! But that brought up another problem I have. I
wanted to reply to these two in my old post, but the Javascript will not
bring up the pop-up box. I have this problem in other programs. I have
disabled all the pop-up boxes I know of (in Windows XP and in Norton A/V).
In some programs, the pop-up feature does work. I am using IE 7. How can I
correct this problem? Thanks again for even more help!
