Post subject: Installation of a font problem
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>basics (more info?)

when i try to install a font i get this message "TrueType font is already
installed. To install a new version, first remove the old version", but i
can't see the font in the font directory or find font on pc. does any one
have any ideas??

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Have you checked the actual file name of the font? It may be very
different from the font name.

Problem - When I change the disks in my CD/DVD drives they do not log in the new disk or files. If the disk is removed the file are still shown to be there but are not accessible. If the system is rebooted then they reflect the current files. Any suggestions...
