What happened here, after I install windows xp sp3 rc2, I noticed that the
network icon or local area connection is missing? When I tried to access
Device Manager, the panel was blank (all white). Is there a flaw with xp sp3
rc2? Is it ok to uninstall service pack 3?

SP3 is NOT ready yet. If you can uninstall it, that would be
advisable.

Please list the reasons why you thought that you needed to volunteer
to test betaware.

Learn to Google (for both web and Google Group searches).

You just found out the answer.

Did you save a full backup or image before committing brain surgery on
your OS (so that you can restore back to the prior state)?

I've had it installed for quite-a-while and have seen NO problems or errors
so it may be something specific on your computer that causes this.
