Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>security_admin (more info?)

Hi all!

One of our newly installed WinXP Pro goes wrong. When I try to download any
"WGA-protected" content from MS download site (one of those requiring
validation before download, e.g. IE7), the IE6 crashes with this error in
App. EventLog:

-----
Source: Application Error
Event ID: 1000
Description:
Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 7.0.6000.16512, faulting module
unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x062a0654.
-----

I've installed the WGA patch, unregister licdll.dll... No change.

It's RIS (WDS) installation with no change from previous...

Any help would be very appreciated.
