Win XP Home PC
Home network.
Minolta 2550 printer on network.
PC could not ping the IP address of printer.
Disconnected switch connecting PC and printer from WT54G router that is tied
to DSL modem.
Ran Minolta Setup Software and it all connected.
And it printed.
connected switch connecting this printer and PC to the Linksys54G router and
connected to the internet after reseting modem. see internet via IE.
now printer is invisible and will not print.
Seems that router is corrupting the PC to printer connection.
What to do?
Is there some WT56G setting I need?
Windows is frustrating enough.

Either the printer must have a static IP address or the router must assign
it one. If the router assigns it the IP address, you must tell the printer
that it must get its IP from the router.
