Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)

Hi,

I have my verizon account set up to come through Outlook, and I can
receive messages from the Verizon account, but I can't send a message
from Outlook- they just sit in my outbox. When I test the settings, I
get an error that the test message failed to send. I've been reading
that there may be a problem w/ Outlook & having a linkys router. I
have tried several different things, but nothing seems to work. Any
suggestions would be much appreciated!

Karen

You might get an answer for Outlook faster if you post in this
newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general

It will probably help to include which version of Outlook you have,
and mention that you are running it under Vista.

I assume that you've already tried here:
