Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>print_fax (more info?)

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix an error message that I get upon
startup? It is:
HP AiO Device Object Server
RegisterClassObjects failed:
hRes = 0x80004015
The class is configured to run as a security id different from teh caller
Maximum retry attempts exceeded

My HP officeject v40 will not print, copy, or display status. I don't know
what to do! Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Renee

I suggest HP.com. Here is an issue with the Device Object Server. It's an
RPC error rather than a security error but search around a bit.
