Been reading this group ...

I notice that many people ask questions and never return.

I hope that means the answers fixed them Smile

Right, it would be nice if they posted the solution.... weather it was
one suggested or something they found elswhere on their own. That way
someone searching for the same problem would have the solution- instead
of just knowing others have the problem - which might be comforting in
some way lol.

Gotta make the database full!

Smile

In the majority of cases it means that they were using CDO, not a
Newsreader, and could not find their way back to read any answers that were
posted to their questions. Very sad.

it is funny.
i don't have a clue of your problem
other than your stuck in the water.

no one has been able to provide
you with a possible solution.

you have not been able to ascertain
an answer from your pc maker or hd maker or
pc seller.

maybe you should just "buy" another hd, set
it up and avoid the mistakes you made with
the other one. Luckily, you can hook up
the other as a slave....

othewise all that is
left is a prayer or an excorcism or a letter to
the north pole....

I am getting the feeling you are right...nothing is left to do but put the
drives in anti static bags and keep em for the poss that someone will come up
with a solution. One thing....the 3rd drive won't even show up on another
computer...It was not part of the Raid 2+0...it should show up right???? I
mean there was no operating sys on it. Just a back up drive.

Thanks for the help
Mike

Two comments:

1. If you want to add information or rejuvenate an older message, please
post your message to *that* thread, rather than to some other one.

2. I have no idea what your problem is, and, like many newsgroup
participants, I don't keep already-read messages. Going back to your old
thread is not possible for me, as it isn't for many of us.

"Form"? I assume you mean "forum." You perhaps don't realize that this is
*not* a "forum," but a newsgroup. You are participating in this newsgroup by
using the web interface--and that's the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone
method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as
Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See
http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/outlookexpressnewreader.htm
