Post subject: Failure to resume after Hibernate
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>newusers (more info?)

Hibernate (but not Stand By) never comes back up properly when I try to
resume tasks. Information is at present pretty sketchy because I have been
unable to narrow down a specific failure. The desktop shortcut icons do not
respond to a single or double left mouse click but right-click Open will do
it.

I cannot Restart the computer following Hibernate and I don't remember if
Shut Down works or not. I haven't yet checked Google to see if this fault
has been reported, and I probably should have done that first. Still, I'd
appreciate some help.
