No! How would it know the phone number, etc. Printing to the Fax Printer
always starts the FAX wizard (at least on my computer).

Use a dedicated fax machine instead.. there is still a procedure required,
not too different to having to fill in fax wizard details like the fax
number to the location where the fax is to be sent..

Do you have a question?
What is it?
Were you expecting to send a fax without specifying the fax number?
Printing to the Fax Printer does not launch the Send Fax Wizard. It does of
course require you to specify your recipient.

Hi MVPs, this is not a Microsoft question ;-(
Hi is99, of course you can, but not using some Microsoft fax service.
Using something like WINFAX will get the fax number automatically from
within your Word text. No need to fill in any wizard. But you need to
buy a different (more professionell) fax software.
I'm sorry but I've never heard of a simple macro that scans your Word
(or other Office or whatsoever) document for the fax number and then
gives it all to the Microsoft fax service (either OS or Outlook), though
this should be a really small thing to do. Probably because this will
only work for one application. So no, Microsoft fax services can not do
this for you, but others can.
Ciao, Tom |
