Error Message for Quicktime

I'm having a problem opening a video wth the file (MOV.) from a memory card
on my note book using the windows media player My mother has a vista premium
pc and it opens up fine and plays the file using quicktime. I tried to
install quicktime and I keep getting the error...

quicktime 740 installer [1].exe is not a valid Win32 application.

What do I need to do to do

It sounds like the file didn't finish downloading completely. You might try
and redownload the file and try again.
