Email goes out in chinese ??? s/be English

I periodcally to different people - my email is received with chinese
letters. And of course it can not be read.
Example: what is wrong

Can someone please tell me what is wrong with my windows mail? I am on
Windows Vista and really do not want to change to yahoo and gmail but
this is really annoying. This is the 3rd person that has received
emails in chinese

Can anyone tell me what to do??

Go to Tools | Options | Send | International Settings and change the
Encoding there. Try Western European and see if that fixes it.
