Director player Error???

I recently downloaded some photos onto my computer this erroro message came
up...Director Player Error Property not found #pdown curser.... my
computer is frozen, can't close anything, when I try to turn it off, it just
goes into standby, and when turned back on, it's still where I left it...
Please, how do I get out of this mess?

Did you try turning it off by pressing and holding the power switch?
