Post subject: DVD Sond problem

I got a new DVD (internal) which I installed, it can play the DVD'S but no
sound, when I play other CD's like MP3 i get the sound, what could be the
problem?

sounds like you haven't got a AC3 decoder installed, normally installed
when you install programs like PowerDVD etc. Have you installed any
programs for playing DVD's?
you can also do a google search for "AC3 filter", there should be a
freeware one near top of results, works quiet well.
