Hi LennyP,

You can create a new user account for it, and delete the old one when
you transfer the personal user folders over to the new one.

LennyP,

I suppose you could try to do a "sfc /scannow" (no quotes) command to
see if it will repair it for you. This tutorial will show you how. You
could also try a System Restore or Repair Install. See the related
links in the same link below.

If it is just the user account, then creating a new one and deleting
the old one may be the easiest way to go.

big problem user account - im trying to start a new user account for my famliy on WINDOWS VISTA but when i do that some things do not work proper like the sidebar and the internet the sidebar gadgets show up as black boxs or nothing at all and the internet dont work..

Startup folder missing/duplicated for user - One of the guys I work with personal start folder disappeared (deleted accidentally perhaps), so I simply recreated it and added the appropriate shortcuts to it, but the programs won't launched at startup. I rebooted again, but they still didn't..

KHypermedia CDRW/DVD Writer - I have upgraded my machine to vista, runs great I have a KHypermedia RW/DVD writeable drive no drivers searched the net and cant seem to come up with any anyone have ideas or a place I can obtain one? Chuck
