All you should need is a TV output on your laptop and a couple of
cables. Look for a headphone-sized jack or a yellow RCA-female jack.
The headphone style jack should be yellow or black and will have a
TV-out label or a screen with an arrow going from the center of the
screen to the outside.
If you have the headphone size jack, get a camcorder to TV cable from
Radio Shack and hook the color-coded RCA jacks to the inputs on your
TV. Set the TV to Input, and press Fn+F7 to switch to the TV.
If you have the yellow RCA jack, you need a composite cable and a
headphone to RCA splitter cable. The composite cable will be just a
yellow RCA Male-Male cable. This goes from the output on the laptop to
the video in on the TV. The headphone to RCA splitter goes from the
headphone jack on the laptop to the RCA audio input on the TV/Audio
system. Again, Fn + F7 should switch to the external display, set the
TV to input.
Hope this helps.
