Hi,
I ran chkdsk under safe mode, the drive is clean.
But, when is in normal mode, following is the error msg , so I ran the
chkdsk with /F and rebooted the PC to try to get it corrected (supposely),
after which, the same chkdsk error appeared again when is in Windows, this
is a 3 years old pc, neaver had this type of problem before, does it
indicate any security related issues?

From the command Prompt did you type chkdsk /f with the space
between k and /f
I would give it another try.

I've seen that quite a few times on machines that were in perfect working
order.
Chkdsk /f never finds a problem as all is really OK...
and the drive is not yet mounted.
Chkdsk run without any switches on a "live" system can find "problems" due
to the ever-changing file system. |

Thanks for the response.
I did tried several times of "chkdsk upon reboot " after typing "chkdsk c:
