Post subject: CD rom not reading any disc Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)
My computer is not reading any disc in MS explorer, yet windows media player
does. I removed the cd rom from the computer then rebooted. as predicted MS
detected the cd rom and reinatslled the drivers. still not able to read
disc's of any format in CD rom drive. Any solutions !
Clean Disc doesn't run - Got a message that C drive was getting full and should run clean disc. Did so, but process does not start. Also tried PCPal, message says there's a problem with windows and can't perform clean. What's the deal? Thanks in advance for any help.

Using another key to escape from Remote Assistance? - I need to use RA with an application (Korn Shell) that uses the ESC key (and this CANNOT be configured). How do I tell RA that I do not want it to use ESC to escape from the session (or to use another key)?
Partitions - i'm running xp opertation system. I have 0GB hard disk space. They are seperated in 2 partitions. The c:\ is 7GB and the D:\ is 63GB. How can I merge these logical drives together to make the C:\ read 70GB? Please advise. thanks
