Post subject: Bitlocker: How to Retrieve the KeyPackages
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>security (more info?)

Hello,

Can anyone tell me on how to retrieve the KeyPackages for the Bitlocker.
I found two ways in microsoft website on how to get it, from active
directory and the other one from the encrypted volume itself. The website is
as below

http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/library/87501592-45...47d9-96

To retrieve the keypackage from active directory, there's a script provided
but the script doesn't work due to some error in the code. The other way to
retrieve the keypackge from the encrypted volume is not provided.

Really appreciate if somebody can help me.
Thanks.
