Post subject: Backup Problem #3 - System State bu not saving latest Registry
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)

Backups created as late as 10/13 (today) with backup of the System State
still show the Registry 'last modified' date as 9/1/2006, even though the
Registry has been modified several times since then.

Why is Backup not saving the latest version of the Registry?

The hive files, such as ntuser.dat, show appropriate 'Date Modified' values,
up to and including today.
