Post subject: "Access Denied" error when using System Configuration Utility Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>configuration_manage (more info?)
When using System Configuration Utility (Start Menu>Run>msconfig), I receive
the following error:
"An Access Denied error was returned while attempting to change a service.
You may need to log on as an administrator to make the specified changes."
I am loged on as an administrator so I'm not sure why I'm getting this
error. Even though I get this error, I still seem to be able to make changes.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
