| I'm interested in creating E books, for free, or at low cost. So far,
I've seen two programs that range from $150 to $300.

there are several free lit generators that all allow free ebooks to be
created for no cost... I suggest readerworks.
Word also has a plugin that will generate ebooks without restriction
However, if you plan to encrypt them, the cost goes way up.

I think my program (HtmCompiler) can help you.
HtmCompiler convert a group of HTML file to single exe format ebook.
maybe, you can try it.

Unfortunately, your program excludes the subject of this forum, the
pocketpc, as your compiled content will not run on it's os, thereby
severely defeating the content's portability.
